Perlane & Restylane Newport Beach

Similar to Juvederm™, Restylane and Perlane are dermal fillers used to replenish areas of the face where youthful fullness may have faded. Restylane and Perlane are made from a compound that naturally occurs in the body, known as hyaluronic acid, which fills in the space between collagen and elastin fibers of the skin. As the skin ages, the presence of naturally occurring hyaluronic acid is reduced, creating a loss of volume in the skin, thus generating folds and wrinkles.

The primary differences between the hyaluronic fllers is that the effects of Juvederm™ last the longest and Perlane is used as a deeper filler (often in the nasal labial folds). The choice between the dermal hyaluronic fillers is based on patient preference and any questions may be discussed with our administering RN.
